We thought you would never ask! These are the steps to take:
- Find a local agency (Animal Control, Fire, Police, CERT) to sponsor a DART for your area (follow the chain of command);

- Recruit a first cohort - people who meet the pre-requisites for DART CORE. We would like to see approximately 20 people participate in that training;
- Schedule a training for your cohort to be taught by usDART;
- If everything goes well usDART will certify you as a DART and add you to the DART Registry upon graduation of your first cohort (you can only be a DART if you are ready to deploy).
Are there other ways to do this? There could be. Contact us to find out if your idea will fly. (One thing we will never, ever do is hand over our training materials. They and the DART logo are copyrighted material.)
