UPDATED A wildfire is currently burning near Mt Diablo, 375 acres burnt and 80% contained as of 07:30 a.m. on 8/25, no evacuations ordered, some buildings threatened. Local Fire Departments and CalFire responding.

Containment has seriously increased. If this holds during the night and in the morning, there will not be a reason for a DART call-out.

Cal Fire spokesman Daniel Berlant said the flames are threatening an undetermined number of homes scattered throughout the area, but no evacuations have been ordered. About 200 firefighters backed up by air tankers and helicopters are battling the blaze. Berlant said the fire was spreading but that crews hoped to have it contained sometime Tuesday nig
