Pet Preparedness is a DART outreach activity. We present a 2-hour workshop on (personal) Pet Disaster Preparedness.
Topics discussed are:
- what should be in your pet disaster plan?
- what "stuff" would you need to be able to either shelter-in-place in your home, shelter-in-place in your neighborhood, or evacuate with your animal?
- what documentation would you, your pet sitter or your neighbor need to be able to get to your animal?
- how often should you test your plan?
The Pet preparedness workshop will be delivered by trained DART staff at any location where we can expect animal companions to be interested.
